This March marks the tenth anniversary of the war in Syria—after a decade of brutal war, Syria is now home to a generation of children who have never known anything but conflict. Syrian children like ten-year-old Sara*, pictured above, have missed years of schooling and many are living with injuries—in addition to the emotional scars of witnessing violence that no child should ever have to see.
Sara has known nothing but conflict and destruction. But throughout all of this she hasn’t given up hope, and even has dreams of going back to her home of Ghouta and becoming a doctor.
Please donate today, and support our teams helping families in conflict zones in Syria and beyond.
