DEC: Myanmar Earthquake Appeal
A major earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 struck central Myanmar. Countless roads and buildings have been destroyed, including schools and water supplies. People are cut off from vital services. Together with the Disasters Emergency Committee, the IRC has launched an emergency appeal.
Myanmar is already facing a humanitarian crisis, after years of conflict and instability. People require urgent medical care, clean drinking water, tents, food, and other basic necessities.
