IRC

In Somalia, extreme drought is impacting over 80% of the country. Over 800,000 Somali children are suffering from malnutrition.

When Amina’s* son Abdi*, pictured above, fell ill, he was taken to an IRC clinic where he received urgent treatment for malnutrition. He was treated for an infection and received life-saving therapeutic food.

With your support, the IRC can help crisis-affected families to survive and recover. Together we can:

• Provide nutritious, therapeutic foods like Plumpy’Nut to children

• Deliver food and medicine to uprooted families while following COVID-19 safety measures

• Deploy mobile medical teams to reach children and families in Somalia's most remote areas
